UNION PRESS is an independent art studio founded by Luna & Maurice Latzke in Shanghai & Madrid. We are committed to championing local culture through our silk screen art, zines, and collective initiatives. Our passion for art and lifestyle has led us to create a community where artists and art enthusiasts come together.
Part of why we started Union Press was to make art accessible and approachable, rather than living in a traditional high brow gallery environment.

LUNA
Founder
Luna is a Chinese artist who graduated from
the Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts in 2016.
She cites her grandfather as a major influence, who exposed her to the Chinese arts of calligraphy, paper cutting, poetry, lantern making.. from an early age.
Her striking line drawings depict themes of nature, wildlife, mythology and Chinese culture, resulting in intricate, almost psychedelic artworks.
She has worked with brands such as Converse, C&A, Denham, Crocs, Harpers Bazaar, Coke, Absolute, Beefeater, Johnnie Walker...
Luna passionately silk screen prints her artworks by hand in series of up to 30 editions.
MAURICE
LATZKE
Founder
Maurice also grew up in an artistic environment as son of renowned German muralist Rainer Maria Latzke.
He is passionate about graphic design, zines, satire, typography & fashion, and has worked as a creative director leading numerous campaigns for brands such as adidas, Converse, crocs...
He has also designed capsule collections for brands such as Salomon, Converse and Anta.
Union Press allows Maurice to work outside of a corporate/briefed environment, for much needed replenishment of passion & inspiration.
